Vapor Cigarettes – Are They Really Harmful?
An electric cigarette is a miniature digital camera which essentially mimics regular tobacco smoking. It basically includes a battery, an electrical power source just like a battery or charger, and a humidifier or vaporizer. Instead of smoke, the smoker inhales vap. Therefore, utilizing an electronic cigarette is generally described as “e-smoking”.

There is no doubt that the act of smoking could be highly addictive. It is this highly addictive nature, making vapor cigarettes a lot more attractive than other styles of tobacco use. Once you vaporize the tobacco, you’re essentially eliminating that initial “kick” that cigarettes provide. Consequently, smoking becomes a more passive experience, one in which your body isn’t as familiar with acting on its “high” as it would be when you smoked the tobacco.
Vapor cigarettes aren’t necessarily safer than regular cigarettes. In fact, in line with the American Cancer Society, they may be even more hazardous than regular cigarettes. They contain higher levels of tar and carbon monoxide than regular cigarettes, and in addition contain an ingredient called “tar” that is highly toxic, as well. The American Cancer Society and other health organizations have needed an immediate cessation of most using tobacco, using all available resources to fight this dangerous habit.
The reason why that vapor cigarettes could be so damaging to your health, though, is you don’t obtain the nicotine kick that you would get from a cigarette. You obtain exactly the same “high”, only at a much slower pace. Since an “e Cig” lasts only about a half hour or less, you don’t need to go through the entire normal session of smoking, which many people find to be difficult to accomplish.
Another major concern is that there is no tar or other toxins produced having an e Cig. When you smoke a regular cigarette, you’re adding lots of chemicals to the body with each puff. Having an electronic cigarette, no such chemicals are released. So although you may not feel any “high” or “give up smoking”, you’re still indirectly adding harmful chemical compounds to the body.
Even though medical community does not recommend using vapor cigarettes, many people who use them feel that they are harmless. Some even say that the lack of taste is a benefit, since you won’t get burned if you’re unable to tell what’s in your mouth. Some people, however, do notice a strange burnt taste within their mouth after having tried an e Cig, but these are usually caused by the burning tobacco that is present in most vapor cigarettes. Even so, vapor cigarettes are gaining in popularity, especially given that they do not need you to smoke.
